Understanding the Parts of Tremolo Up-Down

Tremolo is a device located at the threshold of guitar strings (bridge) and designed specifically to raise or lower the tone of the guitar strings. To learn and understand its parts will be discussed this diartikel.

In this article will only describe the parts that exist in particular tremolo tremolo tool up-down. Maybe you are very familiar with tools such thing as tremolo, because this tool is not available on all guitars. There are some guitars that are made by the manufacturer using a tremolo guitar and indeed most of the market using a bridge die, meaning no tremolonya tool.

Tremolo models

Based on the tremolo function is divided into 2 types, namely:

    1. Tremolo up / tremolo to raise the tone of voice
    2. Tremolo down / tremolo to lower the tone of voice

Now this market, many manufacturers make a combination and variation of this tremolo. Various forms of the model and the view is created, but it does the almost same ie tremolo tremolo up and down or combined into one that is up-down tremolo. The factory was just perfecting the mechanism for its function just perfect, but the same function.

Parts of the tremolo

Let us learn the parts. Due to the tremolo device of its kind in circulation is very much here I'll take a model example of the tremolo up-dawn RG Ibanez Lo Pro Edge. Note the picture below:

Use the picture above as a reference:

   1. Saddle - A small metal box which contained the middle clamp tool string guitar strings if the newly installed we would have to loosen the screws/ bolts behind it (the string lock screw), while the saddle in the middle between the strings and the string lock screw there is usually a small iron (string lock blocks ) as the retaining clips so as not to loose guitar strings when the strings are tightened.

   2. String Lock Block - small iron contained in the saddle/ sedel used to clamp the guitar strings. The tips we have to be careful when changing the strings because little iron is easy to loose and fell, terrible thing to fall and be lost without our conscious, so if you screw relaxed do not wait too long, the new strings have to be installed, or if we stay, the screw must diketatkan again so as not to fall.

   3. Tremolo Arm - Many of the states with term hendel an iron handle that is used to change the angle of the tremolo, where the handle can we lower or raise in order to raise or lower the tone. Flexible position tremolo arm can be rotated so that the handle can be positioned in the direction that we want so as not to interfere with the hand while playing the guitar.

   4. Stud - Tools of the nut that is used to raise or lower the position of the guitar strings with fret guitar, turn it clockwise to lift up and turn instead to humiliate him.

   5. Stud inserts - tool in the form of bolts embedded in the body of the guitar as a couple studs.

   6. Intonation Lock Screws - A handy small screws holding sadle/ sedel on Screw the base plate or base metal. If we want to shift the sedel stay renggangkan screws (Intonation Lock Screws) and slide sedelnya and Tighten screws (useful for setting a long string, the following will be explained how penyetelannya in another article).

   7. Locking Nut - This tool is not shown in the picture but is an important part too, is a string or a locking clip located at the "zero fret" fret most tip near the head of the guitar.

   8. Fine Tuner - round screws that can be played by hand allows you to raise and lower the tone guitar string, this tool will work or is required after the locking nut or locking diketatkan strings, so we can still high-low tone tune guitar strings through this tool.

   9. Tremolo Block - This tool is a metal plate that is placed down connecting tremolo with a spring or spring that is in the guitar body.

  10. Spring - Spring or per/ spring, from the name you probably knew, there in the back of the guitar body usually consists of 3 to 5 pieces per, depending on usage.

  11. Claw Hook - This tool serves as a liaison between the per and kerup planted in the body of a guitar or other term as pencantol per adjustment and pivot means firmness per.

This is not explained all the names that have drawn. By looking at it is believed you will definitely understand and understand, even if translated one by one will make my confusion.
