Basic Techniques To Play Keyboard / Piano


Fingering
Hand and finger forms, relaxation of arms & shoulders.

Exercises for this fingering, intended to make, we as musicians, especially piano or keyboard player, finger and hand position when playing we are in the correct position. Also to shape our fingers over the keys when playing piano or keyboard is in perfect position. Finger exercises include Ladder Tone and Cadence. (As written by mas arhy).

Touching
Touch of the notes, Legato, staccato, phrasing, dynamics and expression.
 
Exercises for Touching is intended to make, we as musicians, especially piano or keyboard player. We understand our interpretation in playing music. Not just playing music, but music must come out from our hearts. We know where we should be able to play loud or soft. Playing with no pressure or disconnected or broken and / or with the appropriate accent. There are dynamics, feeling and expression.

Rhythm And Tempo
Exercises for rhythm and tempo is addressed to all musicians include all instruments. Both as a player drums, bass, guitar, percussions or also piano and keyboard. We need to know the notes, beats and rhythm patterns. We need to understand also about the right tempo.

Rhytmic the music playing (comping). There is a soul or groove in bermusic. There should be a "life" in us playing in a band. We should know also about the TIME SIGNATURE (the song was played in a knock 2 / 4, 3 / 4, 4 / 4, 3 / 8, 6 / 8, etc.).

Harmony
Chords progression, voicing and Accompaniment.

Reading
This exercise is intended more for those who can not read music or the combo score. They are expected later in the day could read sheet music notation or combo part. They know the treble clef (key G) and bass clef (key F). They know about the KEY SIGNATURE (how many sharp (#) or flats (b) the song was played). In our view these signs by itself we already know that the song was played on what scales. Obviously it would be easier for us musically.

Playing Position
