The $ 250,000 bass guitar, The Ritter Royal Flora Aurum, built by Jens Ritter, a luthier, or stringed instrument maker, from Germany.
This luxurious bass has a body carved from a rare, temporary labor-intensive maple bolt / screw carved from mammoth ivory 10,000 years old! (WTF! Old amir!)
Tone boards decorated with floral inlay pattern made of 24 carat gold. There is also a black diamond set in platinum decoration of each leaf.
Bridge, knob and tuner knobs hammered into gold. Continue additional jewelry buttons: they are both topped with brilliant-cut diamonds (3.3 karats).
Ritter began as a musician who can not afford their own devices, bought a guitar broken and fix them. When Madonna's bass player rang his bell and ask to see the collection, he realized his hobby might be his life work.
Ritter now makes about 60 tools made every year, with users including Doug Wimbish, Madonna's band, and The Grateful Dead's Phil Lesh ... and Repairers chimney.
